Class Schedules & Program Start Dates
ULI delivers flexible learning opportunities, all designed to fit your schedule and help you take the next step in your career with confidence.

Flexible Scheduling Options
Rather than fixed terms, classes at ULI often follow a Continuous Intake Model throughout the year. This means you can start when you are ready, depending on program availability, helping you get into the classroom faster.
ULI also uses a Cohort Intake Model for some programs, particularly the Health Care Assistant (HCA) program. In this model, students begin together as a group on specific start dates and move through the program together. This approach offers a structured schedule and a collaborative learning environment.

How It Works
-
Continuous Intake Dates
Many of our programs offer multiple start dates throughout the year, sometimes monthly or by term block, so you can begin at a time that suits you. -
Class Timings
Courses may run in the morning, afternoon, evening, or on weekends, depending on the specific program and its delivery format (on-campus or online). -
Scheduling Flexibility
ULI reserves the right to modify schedules, combine classes, or reassign instructors to accommodate enrollment trends and maintain education quality. While we strive to keep schedules consistent, adjustments may be made when necessary to ensure smooth program delivery.

Schedule Break
ULI has a fixed two-week Winter Break at the end of each calendar year. This break allows students and staff to rest and recharge. Additionally, depending on your program, you may have scheduled breaks between courses to help you manage your study workload effectively.

Class Location
For in-person classes, students typically attend at ULI’s Richmond campus:
240–8211 Ackroyd Road, Richmond, BC
Unless otherwise specified, some classes may be held at partner training facilities.
If your class is delivered online, you will attend live sessions through Microsoft Teams and access course materials via the ULI MySIS learning platform.
