Course 1: Organziational Behaviour (LDRS 611)
Course Description
Content focuses on individual behavior within organizations, on social behavior of groups, and on the evolution of organizations and leadership processes during organizational change: seeking to understand human organizations and dynamics; gaining sensitivity to individual human needs that influence organizational life; developing an understanding of organizational dynamics and leadership responses to change; acquiring an ability to analyze organizations from differing theoretical and practical perspectives; and maintaining employee loyalty through change strategies. The underlying conceptual base of the course includes transformational/servant leadership perspective, values based leadership, and a commitment to best practices.
Course Objectives
This course is designed to aid the learner’s efforts as a leader and a scholar-practitioner to:

Gain sensitivity to the human needs that influence organizational life, especially those that hinder or promote individual and team performance while applying Transformational Servant Leadership concepts to the reading and case studies.

Understand the nature of human organizations and their broad individual and social dynamics.

Develop understanding of the social dynamics of organizations and how leaders must adapt their strategies as their organizations change in character or size.

Build facility in analyzing organizational events and situations from different theoretical and practical perspectives while building a transformational servant leadership culture within an organization.

Develop positive strategies for sustaining high motivation and satisfaction among followers within the organization.

Course 2: Mission, Marketing, & Quality (LDRS 614 RE.RF.RG)
Course Description
An examination of marketing models and frameworks that include an initial exploration of Christian worldview perspectives. The course explore marketing as it is practiced by North American organizations (tools, techniques, and frameworks that are used in market analysis and planning); and engages in the marketing discipline through the eyes of faith.

Course 3: Team Leadership and Conflict Resolution (LDRS 502)
Course Description
This course prepares those currently in leadership positions to assess and develop their abilities to coach and develop teams, manage conflict by building relation-ships, and turn confrontation into cooperation, as well as explore and experience teamwork. Participants will discuss conflict theory teamwork development, motiva-tion, and management strategies. As leaders and agents of change, candidates an-alyze and formulate key knowledge and skill areas that enable them to construct the competencies of self-renewal, communication, and understand how they interact in a team. Development of these competencies increase participants' abilities to value people, and thereby, increase the effectiveness of their negotiation, intervention, and impact in a team environment. The course is facilitative, participatory, and ex-periential. Candidates complete this course having experienced personal change, and having the confidence and competence to influence others through building re-lationship, cooperative negotiation, and a greater trust in a team environment
