Are you an adult (19 years or older), are you a high school graduate? Come in and ask us about our diploma and certificate programs that meet many funder requirements and goals.

Do you have past experience and/or education? Are you looking to upgrade your existing skills? ULI allows you to apply your prior learning in recognition of your past successes. Bring in your resume and transcripts to see how we can apply your prior learning to a current certificate or diploma. We also offer onsite testing to establish your skill level.

Universal Learning Institute runs on a continuous intake system. This means that when you find the program that will help you meet and exceed your career goals; you can start that same day! No need to wait for a semester to start. Here at ULI, we will also design a personal schedule with you! You can hand pick the days and times that best fit your training needs.

Admissions Policy

• Graduation from Grade 12 (or equivalent), or mature status (19 years of age and having not attended school full time for at least 12 months).
• Minimum score of 6 on our aptitude test
• Basic English – English assessment may be required for some programs (The English Assessment test is meant to indicate whether the entrance test would be valid based on language proficiency.  Should language be tested at beginners’ level, this will allow admission into the ESL program only.)
• Self-motivated, cooperative, desire to learn

The Admission Process

No one at ULI is on commission.

Our goal is to help you design a personalized program that will help you reach your employment objectives. We can offer job statistics, course outlines, labour shortages information in the region and some job wanted sites to help you verify what skills are needed in the workplace.

ULI is a low pressure environment and student centered.  We offer the same support for students looking for one or two courses as those who are looking to complete our long term specialist diploma programs.
